In early March, news broke that Euroleague star and Utah Jazz draftee Ante Tomic was interested in beginning his NBA career. Given Tomic’s reputation as both a passer and a scorer and Utah’s lack of depth behind starting center Rudy Gobert, it seemed the time was right for the Jazz to enact their asset.
Even head coach Quin Snyder is ready for the Croatian to join the team:
Until recently, many felt it was unlikely the club would ever see any return on Tomic’s selection. Now, as fans, media and team officials alike are beginning to believe Tomic could actually be in a Jazz uniform next season, there are new developments concerning the center’s status with his Spanish team.
