50 wins? Division title? No. 4 seed? One thing is more important to Jazz than milestones

SAN ANTONIO — With an impressive showing over a hot Washington team, the injury-plagued Utah Jazz won their 47th game of the season. It’s by far the most wins the organization has had since Paul Millsap, Carlos Boozer, Deron Williams and Mehmet Okur lifted them to a 53-29 season in 2010.

With six games remaining in the 2016-17 campaign, this Utah squad already has 11 more wins than the team did the last time it made the playoffs. (The 2011-12 season was shortened by a lockout, and the Jazz went 36-30 in that 66-game season.)

If they can win just three more games, the Jazz will pick up only their second 50-win season in nine years.
