SALT LAKE CITY — In the first game of a back-to-back set, the Utah Jazz fell to the San Antonio Spurs 119-111 on Friday afternoon in Orlando.
Here are three takeaways from the game:
- Four starters were out for Utah, with only one regular starter — Joe Ingles — playing Friday. Even so, Ingles didn’t hit the court in the second half, playing just 16 minutes and finishing with 12 points, all on 3-pointers. The Jazz resembled more of their G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars, as several younger guys played extensive minutes, including Miye Oni, who got his first start.
