Wings slip past Storm

15 ties and 15 lead changes later, the Dallas Wings (8-9) were able to gut out an 83-78 win Thursday over the Seattle Storm (6-10) at KeyArena.

The Wings started the second quarter with a 9-0 run to go in front 29-23 thanks to a pair of 3-pointers from Wings forward Aerial Powers and Wings guard Odyssey Sims. However, the Storm finished the half strong to take back the lead at 46-44. Three-point shooting kept the Wings in the game as they hit eight in the first half at a clip of 61.5 percent.

Both teams continued to trade baskets in the second half until they were knotted up at 76 with just over a minute to play in the fourth.
