The Dallas Wings held off the Connecticut Sun, squeezing out a 74-73 win Wednesday at the College Park Center.
The fourth quarter saw the teams split two big lead changes as rookie guard Arike Ogunbowale buried a 3-pointer to regain the lead and guard Allisha Gray sunk two critical free throws in the final minutes to put the game to bed for Dallas.
Wings head coach Brian Agler said the team didn’t quite manage the game as well as they'd like, but the high-pressure game was a good experience.
“We’ll talk about what can happen in late game situations,” he said.
