With fans in costumes throughout the stands on the eve of Halloween, the volleyball team fell to Stephen F. Austin State University 3-1 on Monday. The Lumberjacks came into the matchup with an 11-0 record in Western Athletic Conference play this season.
“They are very clean in how they play with every single contact and that's why they're having such success,” head coach JT Wenger said.
Things started off in a tightly contested manner as both teams traded points throughout the first set, but it would be SFA who would come out on top, taking set one 25-23.
