The volleyball team (11-7, 3-3) rebounded from its Tuesday loss with a sweep of Georgia Southern University on Friday at College Park Center.
Head coach J.T. Wenger said after facing Texas State University earlier in the week, the team was more responsible with swings against Georgia Southern and showed maturity that will serve them well in the future.
Sophomore outside hitter Brooke Townsend said the match was a fun encounter that taught the team to play loose against lighter opposition.
“Whenever we play tougher opponents, it’s easy to play really tense and play really tight,” she said.
