UTA volleyball announced Tania Schatow as the team’s next head coach Wednesday. Schatow will be the eighth head coach in program history following former head coach J.T. Wenger’s resignation in December.
On the heels of one of its best seasons in program history, the team looks to replicate that success with a new face at the helm and a restructured roster. Six players from last year’s team won’t be returning, five of whom were graduate students.
Schatow spent last season as Pacific University’s assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. Before her lone season at Pacific University, Schatow spent six seasons in Ohio at Miami University as an assistant coach serving as recruiting and offensive coordinator.
