The UTA men’s and women’s track and field teams placed first in eight different events in the Bobby Lane Invitational on Saturday at Maverick Stadium.
Senior thrower Adam Damadzic placed first in men’s discus throw. He had a throw of 53.28 meters.
Senior thrower Tricia Williams placed first in women’s shot put with a 13.98 meter throw.
In the women’s 400 meter race, freshman sprinter Erica Cormier-Jordan, who took second, ran a time of 55.58 while junior sprinter Brianna McClure ran a time of 55.60 to take third.
On to the women’s 1500 meters, sophomore distance runner Astrid Rosvall ran a time of 4:42.
