UTA’s track and field athletes didn’t disappoint in the return of the Bobby Lane Invitational Saturday, after a two-year hiatus from Maverick Stadium.
The UTA women’s team had a nice showing, as it placed high in multiple events and set some personal bests.
The women’s 4x400m relay team, including sophomore sprinter Taylor Davis, junior sprinter Shaniece Prevot, sophomore sprinter Dasia Rolfe, and junior sprinter Tamerah Gorham placed first with a time of 3:46:99.
Sophomore vaulter Madison Pecot place second in the women’s pole vault with a career-best clearance of 12 feet, 5 ½ inches, which was also the third best in UTA history.
