UTA men’s tennis (8-8) defeated University of the Incarnate Word (6-5), 6-1 Saturday at the UTA Tennis Center.
Head coach Diego Benitez said he was confident going into singles. Despite giving up the point in doubles, the team delivered a dominant singles performance to earn the win.
Senior Pedro Sasso made quick work of his opponent winning 6-3 and 6-1, sweeping the match and tying the score 1-1.
