UTA Baseball has never swept a series against the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns — until now.
The Mavericks beat Louisiana-Lafayette 5-4 in the series-opener on Friday, won the first game of Sunday's doubleheader 10-2 and took the nightcap 9-3 at Clay Gould Ballpark.
UTA is 26-17 (15-5 in the Sun Belt) and has won eight consecutive games.

The Mavericks were scheduled to face the Ragin' Cajuns in the second game of the series on Saturday, but the game was rescheduled due to weather concerns.
"It was bad conditions for both teams today," head coach Darin Thomas said.
