UTA student-athletes just got access to a new tool to improve their mental wellness.
On Sept. 13, athletics officials announced a partnership with ZAMA, a sports psychology and mental health platform. The program will officially open to athletes Oct. 1.
The company was founded in July 2021 by Brendan Sullivan and his mother Jane Sullivan, who was a medical provider for 25 years.
The company, incubated in Texas, provides numerous resources aimed at helping athletes in their wellness. The program provides over 100 science-backed modules, according to a press release.
