The UTA men’s and women’s track and field teams competed Monday and Tuesday in the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championship and had multiple top scoring performances.
Senior jumper Roland Sales continued to place on top with a clear of 7-2 1/4 in the high jump, ranking him sixth nationally in this event.
Freshman jumper Alexus Henry took first as she cleared 5-11 1/2 in the high jump portion of the pentathlon, beating the conference record.
In the men’s triple jump, junior jumper Tobi Fawehinmi placed third with a jump of 50-1 1/4.
Both the men and women took second place in the 4x400-meter relay.
