In a game that featured three overtime periods and 14 lead changes, the men’s basketball team (13-17, 9-10) fell by a score of 87-85 to Texas State University on Friday at College Park Center.
UTA kept things close throughout the contest, tying it up multiple times before senior forward Eric Terry sealed a victory for Texas State with three points at the end of triple overtime.
Head coach Chris Ogden said giving up some offensive rebounds at bad times was a deciding factor in Friday’s matchup.
“They just made one more play,” Ogden said. “We had our chances, they made one more play.
