Team USA will welcome a few Movin’ Mavs and Lady Movin’ Mavs in 2018.
Junior Fabian Romo, and alumni Jorge Sanchez, Mike Paye and Aaron Gouge were selected to the 2018 U.S. Men’s National Wheelchair Basketball Team. The four will represent UTA at the August 2018 International Wheelchair Basketball Federation World Championships in Hamburg, Germany.
Rose Hollermann and Abigail Dunkin, gold medal paralympian seniors, along with graduate student Morgan Wood and alumna Josie Aslakson were selected to the 2018 U.S. Women’s National Wheelchair Basketball Team and will also represent at the 2018 IWBF World Championships.
