Head volleyball coach J.T. Wenger became increasingly animated on the courtside.
Wenger had been quiet all season, even when his team was down.
But this was UTA’s final point in the Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament championship.
So, Wenger yelled his strategy aloud, hoping his players could hear.
Then, he hopped in excitement, pumping his fist. The crowd roared around him celebrating graduate outside hitter Brianna Ford’s kill that secured the title and an NCAA Tournament automatic bid for the first time since 2002.
