The Dallas Mavericks (26-31) and the Miami Heat (26-30) squared off for UTA Night with the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday at the American Airlines Center.
It’s presumed that the meeting will be the last time the two franchises’ cornerstone players match up in Dallas.
And in a game with all eyes on Mavericks power forward Dirk Nowitzki and Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade, it was Wade and the Heat who came out on top, defeating the Mavericks by a score of 112-101.
Wade finished the game with 22 points in 22 minutes on the way to a Miami victory.
