For the first time in four years, the men’s basketball team broke 100 points.
UTA (15-5, 5-2) dismantled the University of Louisiana-Lafayette (13-6, 3-3) by 108-71 on Monday at College Park Center in a wire-to-wire victory.
Junior guard Erick Neal and junior forward Kevin Hervey rejoined the starting lineup and produced big scores for the Mavericks.
Neal matched his career-high assist total with 13 and Hervey finished with 21 points, eight rebounds and five assists after coming off the bench the last two games with a sore knee.
“It felt good, knee felt good, my body feels great,” Hervey said.
