The men's basketball team added a new pair of guards to its roster.
Deon Barrett, a 5’10” sophomore from UT-El Paso, and Edric Dennis, a 6’3” junior from Jackson State University, will attend UTA in the fall.
“We’ve got two guys with a lot of experience,” head coach Scott Cross said.
In accordance with NCAA transfer regulations, they will sit out the upcoming season and be eligible to play in 2018.
At UT-El Paso, Barrett averaged 3.4 points and 0.9 assists as a freshman. He shot an overall field goal percentage of 36.6, a team-leading 39.
