MARSHALL, Minn. — Several Movin’ Mavs and Lady Movin’ Mavs players earned All-American honors at the 2018 National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament.
To highlight it all, Lady Movin' Mavs' senior Rose Hollermann was named the women’s Player of the Year.
“Rose is the heart and soul of our team,” head coach Jason Nelms said. “She’s the one that leads the charge, she’s the one that leads the practice. She’s our everything, honest to God, she brings her heart. It's not much more you can say than that.”
As part of the 2017-18 women’s Academic All American Team, two Lady Movin’ Mavs players, sophomore Sydney Davis and junior Emilee Hilbish, earned the accolade.
