When athletes unite, cultural and social barriers crumble — basketball is the universal language, connecting them all.
From Sept. 30 to Oct. 14, players from the Lady Movin’ Mavs embarked to Lima, Peru, for a two-week cultural exchange in collaboration with the University of Houston. Players participated in scrimmages with international athletes, explored historical sites and networked, building a lasting impact.
