Adversity has been a constant throughout graduate guard DaJuan Gordon’s life.
From growing up without a father, to quitting his freshman high school basketball team, to mourning the deaths of loved ones, life has thrown him many obstacles.
It’s through these obstacles, with God leading him, that Gordon said he became the man he is today. Described as a big brother by teammates, head coach KT Turner said Gordon’s a “high-character guy” who guides his teammates on the court.
“When you have guys, especially older guys out there, helping the younger guys, it just builds chemistry and everybody knows it’s coming from a good heart,” Turner said.
