The Dallas Wings' losing streak was extended to six games as they fell to the Connecticut Sun 101-92 on Wednesday night at College Park Center.
“Connecticut played well, everything they shot pretty much went up and went in,” head coach Fred Williams said. “I give my hats off to them, they shot the ball well.”
The first quarter started off with a driving layup by point guard Skylar Diggins-Smith, who returned to the lineup after missing a couple of games because of an injury.
Both teams played tight defense, leading to a tied game at the halfway point of the quarter.
