With four players scoring in double-digits, the Dallas Wings (11-8) defeated the Phoenix Mercury (14-7) 101-72 for their fourth consecutive win Tuesday night at College Park Center.
The win also marks the team's fourth 100-point game this season, setting a franchise record.
“We just came out with a lot of energy defensively, had to put a lot of pressure on the perimeter,” head coach Fred Williams said. “I felt our players really stepped up and took the challenge.”
Phoenix put the first points on the board, knocking down a quick 3-pointer after which Dallas responded with one of its own to knot the game early.
