With their regular season meets now in the books, the men’s and women’s cross-country teams turn their focus to the Sun Belt Conference Championships.
The goal is for the men’s team to win it all given the school’s history and its own high expectations, head coach John Sauerhage said.
Senior Michael Guerrero and junior Justin Domangue have led the charge for UTA, combining for three top-20 finishes and four top-10 finishes this season.
Junior Cole Klashinsky has improved the most since last season, Sauerhage said, and his three top-10 finishes in early meets has him in the running for his fourth at conference.
