After being released from his minor league contract with the Texas Rangers, it appears Josh Hamilton’s days in Major League Baseball may be numbered.
Throughout his career, Hamilton battled a lot of injuries and, in the end, they caught up with the 35 year old. He was placed on the disabled list at the end of spring training to rehab his left knee. However, during his rehabilitation, he suffered a right knee injury, which would sideline him at least for the rest of this season, prompting the Rangers to release him.
It’s sad to see Hamilton leave the Rangers, especially considering he’s one of the main reasons the team is where it is today.
