Scott Cross, men’s basketball head coach, has been relieved of his duties, effective immediately, UTA Athletics announced in a press release Monday afternoon.
Associate head coach Greg Young, assistant coaches Zac Buncik and Kenneth Mangrum, and Maurice Moore, director of basketball operations, have also been relieved of their duties.
Cross, a 1998 alumnus, compiled a 225-161 record over 12 seasons, leading the team to one NCAA Tournament appearance in 2008.
