The USC Trojans have a verbal commitment from 5-star 2016 Torrance (CA) linebacker Mique Juarez, but his recruiting situation remains fluid with his current decision date set for the US Army All-American Game.
"Everything is going good right now," Juarez said of his current status as a coveted recruit. "I'm getting new offers. I'm keeping my options open. Anything can change. I'm still verbally committed to USC."
Right now, 247Sports' Crystal Ball reads 60 percent for USC and 40 percent for UCLA at the present moment. However, that could change dramatically with Juarez planning to take official visits to Ole Miss, Ohio State and Oklahoma in the near future.
"I'm still deciding with my family on that," Juarez said of the other official visits. "We are going slowly. Maybe I'll start taking them after the season."
Juarez is currently ranked as the #2 OLB and #17 overall player in the Class of 2016 by 247Sports.
