LOS ANGELES – Adoree’ Jackson and JuJu Smith-Schuster drove around in a toy car during their visit to Disney’s California Adventure Park this week, which immediately created the image of two of USC’s best players heading off to the NFL together.
But players turn pro early all the time, especially at USC. A bigger question for the Trojans is who replaces its two playmakers if Jackson and Smith-Schuster turn pro, as expected.
USC’s elite teams were always built around playmakers. The Pete Carroll era took off with the arrival of wide receiver Mike Williams. Then came Reggie Bush, LenDale White, Steve Smith, Dwayne Jarrett, etc.
