LOS ANGELES >> If it were not for the antics of former coach Steve Sarkisian, maybe the biggest embarrassment for USC the past two seasons is how it went 17-10 with star talent like wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and Adoree’ Jackson.
Every team in the nation wishes it had marquee players like Smith-Schuster, who is the best combination of size and athleticism at USC since Mike Williams played more than a decade ago. And Jackson is Mr. Versatile, able to play offense, defense and special teams.
A year from now, they will both be practicing with NFL teams, so the Trojans better do something with the players that separate them from most Pac-12 teams.
