Will USC athletic director Pat Haden punish Trojans coach Steve Sarkisian for his apparently drunken behavior at the Salute to Troy football dinner?
That question was on the minds of many at USC on Monday as speculation mounted about possible sanctions despite the lack of official comment from the university.
“I know Pat and Sark very well,” EPSN analyst Kirk Herbstreit said Monday. “If you’re Pat Haden, I don’t know what you do there. It will be interesting to see what Pat Haden does.”
Herbstreit’s comments demonstrated he expected further action. But there was only silence inside Heritage Hall, as the school said nothing since Sunday’s official statements from Sarkisian and Haden.
