USC football’s return to football practice should follow the NCAA’s newly proposed preseason schedule.
The return of USC football appears more real than ever thanks to the NCAA’s newly-proposed preseason schedule.
The NCAA’s Football Oversight Committee finalized the plan on Thursday, but it will have to be approved by the Division I Council before it goes into effect.
Under the model, college football programs like USC football will be able to resume mandatory team activities by mid-July.
USC football’s likely preseason schedule:
- July 13: Mandatory workouts can begin
- July 24: Enhanced training can begin
- August 6: Fall Camp can begin
The Trojans have been given the go-ahead by the Pac-12 to bring athletes back to campus and hold voluntary workouts beginning on June 15.
