The recruiting saga of three-star receiver Velus Jones took an unexpected turn Saturday when the Alabama-native announced on Twitter he will sign with USC, the day after he de-committed from the Trojans in favor of Oklahoma.

“I have made my final decision to attend the University of Southern California and I’m ending my recruitment,” Jones wrote.
Jones’ recruitment had always seemed the shakiest of USC’s committed wide receivers.
