LOS ANGELES >> Michael Hutchings stood on the sideline at the Coliseum three years ago, watching Chuckie Keeton march Utah State’s offense toward midfield in the afternoon sunshine.
USC led narrowly, by three points. The Aggies began their final drive at their 15-yard line. Keeton, though, connected on a couple passes. The dynamic quarterback zipped one for 13 yards and saw another go for 6 yards.
“They run their offense to a T,” Hutchings said.
On a fourth down, Keeton ran to pick up the first down, but fell short by three yards, brought down by a defensive lineman, George Uko.
