INDIANAPOLIS – Su’a Cravens, the confident Californian who once walked around USC with a dyed-blond mohawk, grinned when asked about the weirdest question he’d been asked at the NFL Scouting Combine.
“I’ve been asked if I’m a prima donna,” Cravens said Friday. “I get that, coming from SC. People think a lot of SC guys are entitled, but things have changed since the glory days. I think I’m a hard-working guy.”
The bigger question about Cravens is, what is he? A safety-turned-linebacker at USC, Cravens said he had conducted interviews with 20 NFL teams, and the questions were evenly split regarding the two positions.
