USC’s offensive line played a lot better against Idaho on Saturday after struggling at times in the opener the previous week. But the line wasn’t the only reason the Trojans rushed for 284 yards against the Vandals.
USC coach Steve Sarkisian praised the blocking of the wide receivers during his weekly teleconference Sunday night. JuJu Smith-Schuster and Darreus Rogers were among the standouts, and they weren’t alone.
“It’s easy to look at the stats,” Sarkisian said of Smith-Schuster, who notched career highs with 10 receptions and 192 yards and also had two touchdowns.
