It almost seemed like cornerback-wide receiver Adoree Jackson was involved in every play. Jackson gave up a 75-yard touchdown pass on Notre Dame’s first play of the game. He then made a questionable kickoff return from the end zone and tackled tailback C.J. Prosise about 3 yards into the end zone on a touchdown.
Jackson redeemed himself, however, with a forced fumble near the goal line and then caught a short pass and that turned into an 83-yard touchdown.
Carlisle haunts Trojans
Former USC tailback Amir Carlisle scored a touchdown for Notre Dame in the first quarter after scooping up a blocked punt.
