Force Turnovers
The most important key to this game for the Trojans will be the defense forcing turnovers. The Huskies’ offense has been potent all year, consistently finding the end-zone as they average an outstanding 48 points per game, only behind Lamar Jackson’s Louisville offense who are averaging 50 points per game. USC will have to capitalize on every mistake that Washington makes, such as poor passes, blown assignments, and sacks on the quarterback which could lead to turnovers. This game will be about extra offensive possessions, consequently, expect the Trojans’ defense to take calculated risks to take the ball from that Huskies’ offense.
