The Arizona Wildcats have not hosted a September day game at home in Tucson since losing to Washington State in 2004. That streak won’t be ending this year, as the September 29 USC vs. Arizona game has been set for a 7:30 p.m. Pacific kickoff on ESPN2.
Once thought to be a potential College Gameday matchup, the Week 5 tussle in Tucson is looking more so to be a gut check. It’s been a disappointing start of the season for both teams, each sitting 1-2 through three games despite expecting to be contenders for the Pac-12 South division crown.
