USC sweeps UCLA for first time since 2010

USC swept UCLA so casually this season, the fans did not even bother to storm the court Thursday night after the Trojans defeated the Bruins, 80-61, before a sellout crowd of 10,258 at the Galen Center.

The students were obviously aware the Bruins suffered their 10th loss of the season, and neither game this season contained much suspense. USC swept UCLA for the first time since 2010 and enjoyed its first sold-out home game since 2011.

The victory was symbolized by USC guard Jordan McLaughlin’s casual 3-pointer at the buzzer.

UCLA shot just 35 percent from the field and 27 percent on 3-point shots.
