LOS ANGELES — On Tuesday, Nico Falah’s future at center looked a little clouded.
As Falah walked off Howard Jones Field, he revealed to a group of reporters that a herniated disc in his back was the cause of his limitations in spring practice, keeping him for most of the workouts. The pain was severe enough, he said, that he even broached a position change with USC’s coaching staff the previous week.
It was a suggestion, but one with merits, they agreed.
If he moved to either left or right tackle, it would alleviate the continued stress on his back.
