USC lost its cool at times at chilly Autzen Stadium on Saturday. Several times, actually.
The Trojans committed a season-high 12 penalties for 124 yards in their 48-28 loss at Oregon. Four of the infractions were personal fouls. That can’t happen again against UCLA in a game that will be highly emotional for a variety of reasons.
“We have to be very self-conscious and control our emotions,” USC interim coach Clay Helton said Sunday. “You have to remember to focus on your job.”
