EUGENE, Ore. — So many things happened at USC the past four seasons: Four coaches, the end of NCAA sanctions, two bowl victories and even the Coliseum crowd rushing the field after a victory over No. 5-ranked Stanford in 2013.
But where is the signature road victory?
Those are woefully in short supply since Pete Carroll departed for Seattle. But give Lane Kiffin credit for one thing — he went to Oregon in 2011 and escaped with a 38-35 victory over the No. 4-ranked Ducks.
“This is a game we looked forward to on our schedule,” USC linebacker Su’a Cravens said of Saturday’s first return to Autzen Stadium in four years.
