Here’s some notes and observations on the eve of the season opener against Alabama:
USC quarterback Max Browne candidly admits he has no idea what he will feel when he walks on to the field Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
“I don’t know. I’m sure it will be a lot of jitters,” Browne said. “A lot of nerves. But I think at the end of the day, a lot of excitement. I’m ready to go. I’m ready to finally play ball. But once again I don’t know what to really expect.”
Browne said it sometimes felt like his first start would never happen.
