USC basketball suffered a potentially big blow when point guard Julian Jacobs decided to declare for the NBA draft. Jacobs said he has not decided whether to hire an agent yet so there is a chance he could return for his senior season.
“I’m not going to hire one right now,” Jacobs said.
However, if Jacobs hears positive reviews at the NBA combine or after workouts for teams, he likely will sign with an agent.
Jacobs, the only USC player named to the All-Pacific-12 Conference team, is the Trojans’ only true point guard and would be difficult to replace.
