If USC’s season could be summed up after 10 games, it might be almost everything expected from the Trojans’ offense went another direction.
This was supposed to be a team of offensive stars supplemented with solid role players. Instead, USC squeaked out victories recently with a just-good-enough offense that hardly dominated some of the Pacific-12 Conference’s porous defenses.
USC expected to rely on Mr. Everything Adoree Jackson, who was poised to become a national star with a breakthrough sophomore season highlighted by long kick returns, interceptions and electrifying touchdown plays.
But Jackson saw a season-low one play against Colorado last week.
