USC not looking past struggling Oregon

/ STAFF WRITER

LOS ANGELES – It has been a predominant feature of football throughout the Pac-12 Conference for almost a decade, ever since Chip Kelly joined Oregon’s staff as an offensive coordinator in 2007.

The Ducks score points. A lot of them.

The standard continued when Kelly took over for Mike Bellotti, and when Mark Helfrich was promoted to replace Kelly, who left for the NFL following the 2012 season.

The Ducks, using a spread offense, play at a frenetic pace. They were one of the earliest teams to push the tempo by hurrying to the line of scrimmage to run off more and more plays in a game.
