USC and UCLA both moved up in the latest Associated Press Top 25 released Sunday.
By virtue of their lopsided victories Saturday – and poor performances by others – the Trojans climbed to No. 6 and the Bruins to No. 10. They were eighth and 13th, respectively, last week.
USC (2-0) plays host to Stanford next week (5 p.m., ABC). UCLA plays host to BYU (7:30 p.m., Fox Sports 1). The Cougars are 19th in the poll after their second straight last-minute, comeback victory.
Ohio State remains No. 1. As far as other Pac-12 schools go, Oregon fell from seventh to 12th after losing at Michigan State; Arizona rose from 22nd to 20th after defeating Nevada; and Utah climbed from 24th to 21st after beating Utah State.
