A year ago, it looked like 2019 would have a promising USC NFL Draft. The Trojans were set to return a ton of talent from the vaunted 2015 recruiting class, including Iman Marshall, Porter Gustin, Marvell Tell and Cameron Smith. Three of the four were featured in at least one first-round mock draft last May.
But a few injuries here, seven losses there and USC didn’t have a player selected in either of the first two rounds for the first time in 17 years.
They had at least four players selected for the fifth-straight draft, but it was an event of disappointment, given the high expectations for the Trojans’ talented crop of seniors.
